i just bought the solos'. Man these headohone are tight as fuck. They sound amazing, i played everything, from dre, em, cashis, ice cube, nas, jay, and even some rock jams. and baby do these perform. The bass booms hard, and its sounds fucking incredible. I bumped the refill tracks, and they sound insanely crazy. I bought them at best buy, for 179.99. And they are worth it, take it from me. I've been through a shitload of headphones and earbuds, and these take the cake. Which leads me to believe the studios are a notch above. The build quality of them are nice and sturdy. Overall one badass product.

thanks man, thats exactly what i wanted to hear, thats what i was hoping for. i wanted to make sure my shit would sound like it should if im gonna pay almost $180. ive gone through the same shit, i keep trying to find the right headphones, i got a pair of BOSE over the ear for like $150 last year and those arnt that bad, but the bass isnt like it should be, it more for every other kinda of music haha

No the solos dont need batteries, there plug & play I payed 179.99 at best buy
they are a bit smaller and more compact, but still have that kickass sound from its bigger bro. i plugged them into my ipod touch, set my eq to hip-hop and im set. The sound on these is amazing, i bumped the chronic 01, and man its like dre knew i would. The bass is fucking kickass, its like a massage to your face. Everywhere i've been going people are like, "yo are those the beats, and im like......yeahhhh "

If your gonna cop these, just do it. I mean the bigger studios are nice, but i think the only major difference your paying for is electronic noise isolation, which requires the batteries, and i think the solos do good at isolating noise when on. But if you wanna jam out, and still look fly doing it, buy the solos
you wont regret it.

Btw, I got the 2. They both got their advantages. Like the Solo doesn't have batteries, they are small and light, so you can travel with it, but if you're cool at home, I take the Studio's, well, they have batteries, but you don't hear anything around you and the basses are like wow !!

I have the Dre "in ear" Beats...got em last Christmas and they still sound great
