After all the drama that we witnessed last year in April (read here & here), Bishop Lamont appeared on The All Out Show with Rude Jude and Lord Sear on Shade 45 to finally lay the speculation to rest that he’s NO longer signed to Aftermath Entertainment.

Also, he has a catalog of about 700 mastered songs with different producers which he was allowed to take with him. Let’s hope for a studio album in 2010.

Aftermath is rough on their artists, but it's probably because they work on artist development. That's part of the reason Rakim left and the Oh My God album wasn't put out. Dre doesn't let people fuck around, who knows how these people are to work with.

However, 700 songs? Bishop must've really worked hard. That being said, there are plenty of labels that would've fucked him and not let him leave with that material, or not leave at all without a huge ordeal.
