This is probably one of my favorite Yelawolf projects to date.
There aren't really words to describe how much I love this tape. I don't even consider this a mixtape, its more like an amazing free album.
Its production is amazing, and very cohesive. The way they blended classic rock with hip hop is just amazing on this tape. And it fits Yela's voice perfectly, he feels so comfortable with these beats. It also has a great concept, Yela taking a classic rock DJ hostage so he can play his music on there since they won't let him play his music in the hip hop stations is very funny and is just overall badass.
The song concepts are also some of the best he's had. Songs like Rich Like Me, Brown Sugar, Box Chevy 2, Break the Chain, In the Cradle, Run Johnny, are just amazing. And it even ends with an amazing completely sung song, Take It Easy, which is probably one of my favorite Yelawolf songs.
I feel like this project is very under-appreciated. To me, it falls into Yela's 5 flawless projects to date, along with TMR, TM 0-60, Slumdon Bridge, and Arena Rap. If you haven't listened to it yet, please do so now. Its just amazing.
