Well put, that's exactly how it was.

I remember hearing it and being like "Damn, Em can still do it!", but then...nothing. Little did I know that the song wasn't from that period, and that was why it had that feel.

I really started appreciating this song WAY MORE after hearing it on an outstanding sound system.

The beat is perfect, every single instrument and sound used in it fits perfectly.
