Good review but we seem to have different tastes. I thought Space Bound and Cinderella Man were great tracks and On Fire was just average. On fire is just him rapping a bunch of punchlines with a joking chorus. Cool track, but i get bored of it fast.

Couldnt agree more about Space Bound, I dont get the hype over this.

Oh, and that "evol" line is a reference to a classic Rakim line from the song Man Above ("coz love backwards is evil" and Rakim pronounces it evol). So it makes sense if you know that line, obviously Em is a big Rakim fan and that's one of his classic lines.

Love The Way You Lie
-I dislike Rihanna, annoying start. Beat feels all weird on my ears, but isnt that bad. Okay this verse is alright, not that special, not memorable at all. Fuck off Rihanna.... Flow is wayyy better this verse, makes song more interesting. 'Window pain/pane' punchline was pretty corny. I thought I told you to fuck off, you big headed hoare... this song is slowly getting better. Improved dramatically in the 3rd verse. I'm not fucking suprised Chris Brown did what he did, christ, she's annoying.

I initially thought Love The Way You Lie was "not that special" too, but it's now definitely top 4 of the album. The first verse is excellent rhyming. A bit on the cliched side, but it's still really good.

Well, that was my review on my first listen. Typing as I went. After numerous listens, my whole view has changed on the album pretty much. Apart from my intense love for Almost Famous & 25 To Life.

I liked the harsh honestly lol, but I value your opinion a lot, and it was a good read. With that said, I do not agree with most of your thoughts, I found it to be rather harsh on what I felt was an amazing album, but that's my opinion.

I felt like you liked relapse a lot after reading this, probably more than you made yourself sound, simply by the comparison you made.

One thing I would note, for your review of talkin 2 myself, was how you stated his rhymes of sorrow/tommorrow/etc. that he continued those rhymes into motto, bravado, desperado, bottle, throttle, and so on. I agree he has used them before, and i noticed it as well, I just thought it should be noted he continued that rhyme very deep into that verse, and used different rhymes than he has before, and I personally thought that made it a lot better than you made it sound, and may have felt after hearing it.

Overall, great review, it was easy to read and enjoyable. Good work

I admit I was too harsh on Talkin' 2 Myself. The honesty on Talkin' 2 Myself was great and I see it as a track that he NEEDED to show us. He had to say that to the fans.

I'm also bumping Seduction up to 8/10, Cinderella Man up to 8.5, Love The Way You Lie to 9.5/10 and You're Never Over up to 9/10

You're Never Over is one of the most important songs of his career.

Damn, bumping ratings already, I should have known, this album is dope and enough listens would make you agree
