Beautiful > Most of Recovery

Postby Mahmoud48 » Jan 28th, '11, 05:05

how can anybody hate that song
i mean its straight raw emotion
there isnt anything forced and it sounds so pure
its one of his best song I get chills when he says "HA MARSHAL UR SO FUNNY MAN"
i know to some it doesnt fit relapse but as a song, as a single
its better then most of Recovery
this isnt a Recovery vs Relapse thread
this is just stating that Beautiful is one of his best song and its slept on for no reason
IF he made more songs like Beautiful in Recovery it would be a classic album

the video is just beautiful its amazing :worship:
Thats just my 2 cents

It's an amazing song no doubt. I don't think is better than a bunch of Recovery songs, but is certainly one of my favorites.

Beautiful > On Fire, Won't Back Down, WTP, Cinderella Man, So Bad (these are the weakest songs on Recovery IMO). All of them seem to be nothing more then filler tracks to me.

All of the other songs, with the exception of Cold Wind Blows, Seduction and Untitled (which are all dope tracks) have some sort of emotional message attached to them.

I've often wondered why he didn't save Beautiful for Recovery. I think it would have been a great way to close the album.

I tend to question a lot of Eminem's decisions. Like why wasn't My Darling #2 on Relapse? That would have been a great way to start the album and push 3AM to #3 and scrap My Mom all together. Releasing We Made You as a single was also a mistake. Relapse could have been an incredible album (still good but could have been better) if he took all of the best songs from R1 & R2 and made one album and then went on to make Recovery.

No on fire, so bad and wtp aren't one of the weakest tracks on the album I agree with the others you mentioned though.

You're going crazy, Lello. Beautiful is alright, but better than all of Recovery?
I find Beautiful to be a bit boring to be honest. His delivery, the lyrics, the hook...just make it a subpar track if you ask me.
