'97 Bonnie & Clyde vs. Kim

I prefer '97 Bonnie & Clyde because it has a bigger replay value for me and I find it more enjoyable. But more importantly, his flow on it is ridiculous and it's the best combination of speaking and flowing I've ever heard which I believe is hard to achieve. Plus I love how vivid the storytelling is and all the background sounds like cars passing by. It's also very funny and the comic side to it along with the whole Slim Shady LP is unmatched in my book.

Yeah, I mean Kim is definitely dope as well; good points. Glad we agree and TSSLP is my favorite too, and not only by Eminem but probably by any artist. It's the album that blew me away the most on first listen. The flow, the rhyming, the comedy, the creativity, just crazy (and that's without the nostalgia part that plays big role in our preferences. The album that made me a fan was TES). The only one close was Big L and his first LP.

Plus, combination of killing and anger is creative but the portrayal of murder, sadness and humor of B&C blows my mind! Utilising haile and the concept in general where "original" on SSLP and simply refined or expanded in Kim

'97 Bonnie & Clyde doesn't have much replay value for me. Kim does. Plus, the anger in Kim is one of a kind, you can't find that kind of passion anywhere else in music overall. Or at least, I haven't.

The emotion and love for his daughter mixed in with a bloody murder on '97 is incredible. I always liked MMLP more as a whole but the contrast on '97 amazes me, plus the ridiculous rhythm and rhyming schemes while all speaking in a play voice to his daughter is awesome. Kim is a great, emotional track but '97 is a true classic.

Kim is more than a song, I can not give it a note, she is out of competition, the quality of the lyrics makes me think he had all his mental capacity when he wrote it and that's even more appreciable.

Kim is my favorite Eminem song of all time so i'm going to be a biased here but yeah Kim by a fucking landslide. A song like Kim was never made before & never attempted since (atleast I hope not). It's like you're listening to a literal rap horror movie, instead of him telling the story you're listening to it happen like you're there yourself. He can keep a good multi scheme going while talking directly between him & his wife, has a great chorus which is probably one of his earliest & best attempts at singing a chorus, the beat fits in just right with the song. It was the first time a concept had been done like this & it was done so fucking perfectly.

Whereas 97 Bonnie & Clyde is my least favorite song off of SSLP. Now don't get me wrong it's a good song & impressive how he can rap in baby talk while telling a story (which is another concept I don't think has been done before) but like some other people say Kim doesn't have much replay value for them I feel that way about this song.

nah, I didn't say the song was better. the chorus is better. lyrically, both are about the same except that kim is noisier. 97 bnc is more calm because he's talking to a baby.

To all the people that are saying that Kim's chorus is better, the chorus doesn't make an Eminem song. It's the verses that drive the song and the choruses don't matter nearly as much.
