It also shows, unfortunately, that both of them have gone downhill working from this period in time.

I used to think Royce was better on this track, but in truth Em completely murdered it. His charisma, rhyming, cadence and flow (which is beyond amazing) just blow Royce away, in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, Royce was good but he had a couple of weak lines, and his flow was a bit sloppy. His suicide line was sooo Em influenced as well. His second verse is nice as fuck, though.

Definitely think Em takes this. Quite comfortably. I never get bored of hearing that first verse of his. His flow is just :flutter:

Taking nothing away from how royce performed. I remember this song was the first instance where I heard (and actually took in and appreciated) that type of rhyme scheme he uses. Listening to it again they compliment each other so well on this track.

^@MikeNUFC the "blazing mc's / amazing mc's / raising to me" brought that verse 2nd verse down for me and as you said his flow was quite noticeably sloppy at a couple of occasions.

This. I've always thought the suicide line sounded like something Em would say.

I wouldn't say it's better than a lot of songs on H:TS, but that's just my opinion. It never really stood out to me. The Reunion was amazing though. My favorite song on H:TS.

Yeah, I've always thought that Em did better. His flow on that whole album is just amazing.

The suicide line was a great line, I always loved it. Actually, it's the first track that made me think "Eminem didn't murk the other rapper" back then. Two dope rappers trying to outdo each other, that makes a classic.
