I guess, Kill You, here was talking from his musical point of view. It's true, he would have released average tracks and would have retired early. Proofs death, him relapsing somewhat brought him back to the original self. Sorry to say this, but it turned out useful.

Where did I express my musical point of view? Never said he would or wouldn't have released average tracks. But if you want my opinion then I think he would have made a very dark album filled with Em beats in the same vein as The Apple and then he would have retired, yeah. They may or may not have been average, but I like a few of the leaked songs like The Apple and GOAT. I'm sure Em has a bunch of songs like those.

If Proof didn't get shot (aka he stayed alive) Em wouldn't have overdosed severely multiple times yet. He would've stayed in that horrible zombified state that you were talking about on Encore. The bad songs. He would have stayed like that, and eventually killed himself because he would've never got clean. And if what Em said on You're Never Over is true, about Proof's spirit visiting him while he was in the hospital / coma / passed out / whatever... then that part wouldn't have happened if Proof was alive.

But Proof died, and Em overdosed, went to rehab, relapsed and finally got clean. These events stemmed from Proof's death.

So it seems like one of them had to go.

See, I understand the drug thing, but only after he died did he OD. I can't say I believe he woulda if proof didnt die. I think the fact he did drugs AND THEN proof died made it to where he just crazily abused them, but i can't be certain.

im still shocked its really that long, for years ive only ever heard the first few minutes of it as one freestyle
