Really like his hook on Asylum. The reception has been pretty polarized for some reason but I think it's good. His hook on Throw that is awkward, just like the rest of that god awful song :s His hook on Our House is good as well, might actually like that better than Asylum's hook. His verse is average at best.

I think his verse on Our House is alright, his prehook on it was pretty great though. Not a fan of the Asylum chorus, the choppy punch in really annoys me and I feel like he could've done something better. Nice to see him playing around with different deliveries though.

The punch in the the hook? Yeah, I don't like that either. The only flaw on an other wise good hook, delivery and beat.

Yeah, other than that it's great for what it is.

I think I'm not so critical of his "Our House" verse because...he sounds like he really means what he says. I was never one to get panty bunched over a pause in the flow, it sounds different and I appreciate it. If I don't like something, I don't listen/talk about/guilt others for liking it lol.

I feel like it's just experimenting for his next style. People want him to revert to the old formula but I think him doing all these variations are just him trying to find something new and just as good and if not better than he used to be. So, though off topic and about a different album, I think his 8th will be great.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to comment on Throw That, I think it's awesome.

I'll say it again. The bridges (Our House/Throw That) were awesome. Not like just cool, but awesome. The bridge on Throw That is probably the best part of the song actually.

Surprised to see that people like Throw That...I love the song as well, just didn't expect it to get much praise. Good to see people recognize it's supposed to be a fun song.

I hope the positive reception to it translates into an EM album full of his own hooks.
