not sure how or why i never saw/posted in this thread but...say goodbye hollywood has been for a decade now my favorite song of all time and obv my favorite em song of all time.

it reminds me of the shawshank redemtion, it's not well known but it seems to be everyone's favorite, which always blows my mind cause I always think (with the song and the movie) i never expected so many others to love this that much.

Shawshank redemption is known by everyone. It's more like Lose Yourself or Sing For The Moment.

yeah but it didn't do well in theatres, its like the best film to not get any props while it was released, which reminds me of this song cause its on such a loved album but wasnt a single, was never performed, yet everyone seems to not only love it but many think its his best song

The 'please don't cry for me when I'm gone for good' at the end gets me every fucking time. Absolute masterpiece of a song in my eyes, brilliant in every aspect there is.

25 To Life is a good song, but Say Goodbye To Hollywood is much better.
And the last part of the song "Imagine goin' from bein' a no one to seein', everything blow up and all you did was just grow up emceeing
