Kim is so great.

Everything about that song is great. It's a whole experience..

- The delivery. What a vocal performance. No other rapper could pull it off like Eminem, you actually forget you're listening to a song.. It's like he's screaming to you lol.

- The lyrics/content/rhyming. Relatable, of course. Rapping about being cheated on isn't new, but in that way? In a harsh, brutal and violent way? I don't know any other singer, rapper, whether it's rap, hardcore, metal or any other genre who could make a song like this.
It's so brutal.. It's like he's in your head. Like when you get cheated on, he's taking the words out of your mouth lol.
Everyone has had thoughts like that.

- The hook. So depressive. Eminem can't sing, and this actually adds to the vibe of the song.

- The adlibs.. They're so important in this song. They take it to another level, and it's like you're not listening to a song anymore.. It's like a movie. You can picture it, you can clearly picture the scene in your mind. (the throat cutting adlib is fucking disturbing and a great way to end it.. Kinda shocking too.)

I played this song again today.. And showed it to a friend fan of metal/horrorcore, stuff like that. Her reaction was priceless.

This song is one of Eminem's most creative track, and one of my favorite. 15/10.

I agree, it's a fucking movie... I only think the rhyming was kinda different but probably 'cuz of the content.

It's a dialogue between Eminem and Kim, yet he still manages to rhyme 3/4 syllables most of the time.. It's pretty impressive if you ask me. :y:

I love this song a lot, it sucks that he got/gets so much hate for it. Please, like everyone hasn't thought about killing or really hurting someone. He just made a song about it, that's the only difference.

Sounds so good being blasted in your car!!!

"Hey remember the time we went to Brian's party?
And you were like so drunk that you threw up all over Archie
That was funny wasn't it? (Yes)
That was funny wasn't it? (Yes)"

It's looks and sounds crazy when you actually imagine this part (and the whole song, of course). Imagine Em's face being almost evil-happy and relaxed like when he says the first "That was funny, wasn't it?", plus just talking normal, and then imagine his change when Kim (Em) says the low "yes" to suddenly flipping and almost threathening her with his body language and scream the second "That was funny, wasn't it?".

If what I just said isn't making sense, it's because I am high, tbh.

Actually, I could've probably used less words too.

I know, I didn't mean it's not good but just different to what his rhyme schemes were on ''TMMLP'' or to his early days rhyming, period. But yeah, it was 'cuz of the content & the format of the song. It is a dialogue indeed but also a vivid picture, a fucking movie like I said. It is amazing.

That's e cause it was written 3 years prior to most songs on MMLP.

Probably one of, if not the most cinematic songs he's ever done.
"America...just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable" — Hunter S. Thompson

"Poison the well, your enemies are thirsty!" — Modest Mouse

Nah it's not about the time it was recorded... It is way different to the way he's rhyming on ''TSSLP'' too, & like a said to the way he rhymed back in the day period. It's cuz of the content & the format of the song... like you can't make a dialogue in which two people fight & scream too complexed with too many multisyllable words 'cuz it would be forced & not as realistic.

AbramIsaac wrote:Probably one of, if not the most cinematic songs he's ever done.

I agree... one of them for sure. There's a lotta competition for the #1 spot though. Dude is fucking cold on that cinematic shit... ''3 A.M.'' is my fave one though, that's some rhyming right there.

He still uses multies all the way through it so I think you're talking a bit of shit. It wasn't much different to his rhyming in Stan, tbh.

Of course he uses multies, we're talking about Eminem, not Soulja Boy... ''Stan'' is another throughout dialogue kind of song isn't it? Plus on the 1st & 2nd verses EM raps from the perspective of a semi retarded fan. Great example man!
Was it different to ''The way I am''? I don't mean like quality wise when I say different, I explained that to Trimss.

The Way I Am is different to every song he has written because most of it is written and rapped in anapestic tetrameter. So that was a good example, moron :y:

If anything it is written more uniquely than Kim, smh.
