Depends what you are looking for when judging both tracks. I prefer difficult, emotional tracks like that win me over. It's like looking inside Eminem how dark he was at the time, what he was going through the emotion there is of a very unstable person. Can't compare the emotion on that track to YNO where he is not exactly got over Proof's death but accepted it if you know what i mean. Eminem's outlook on proof's death in 2010 is different to 2006. There are five stages of mourning,
Denial and Isolation,Anger,Bargaining,Depression,Acceptance:[2010 Eminem]. Bargaining and Depression appears to be seriously present in Difficult.

From a lyrical stand point YNO>Difficult. But as a track Difficult>YNO. The YNO chorus was a let down. But both tracks are great for what they are.

If I were Eminem, I think I'd quit rapping after reading threads of this nature.

It doesn't even matter what he does...most people are too stupid to tell the difference between horrible and great.

Ugh this is tough. But I say Difficult. YNO's 2nd verse is one of favs from Recovery, but Em's emotional songs is always great, especially this one.

Difficult is by far the most greatest song Eminem has ever done, period.

Difficult was below average. You Are Never Over is one of the most powerful Eminem songs.

They're actually the complete opposite. YNO is celebrating his life, whilst Difficult is mourning his death.

And I prefer Difficult too, I just feel like his Proof dedication has to be sad and the track feels much more human. YNO has that fucking pop beat and I just don't feel it, despite it's lyrical brilliance.

Both...
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

They are opposite in lyrical sense but the concept is still there..And yes..Fuck the beat of YNO.. :y:
