I guess the question is what songs make it above a 5?

That album to me is completely forgettable, its not even encore after TES, I mean it was after devils night. I'm curious why you're going as high as a 6.5

Damn. Well if I were to break it down I'd have to listen to the album again, but honestly all that stood out to me was ems verse on git up, my band cause it was clever, leave dat boy alone cause it was different and i loved the hook and porters verse, 40 ounce for ems verse mainly, and keep talkin, but i had keep talkin like 2-3 years before that alvum came out as well as 6 in the morning.

idk to me that album was trash and maybe its cause i compare it to devils night, but even still that album is like encore to me and encore had some really solid tracks so..

When you look at the tracklist, they're all solid songs. Nothing truly amazing and 10/10 material, but nothing awful (except Leave Dat Boy Alone, I hate it). I really love D12, and all the individual members solo work, so I don't exactly skip the songs Em ain't on. I like them all. D12 World (the track) is awesome. I love that song, and the beat. I think Kanye produced it surprisingly. He should do more like that.

well then i guess we can agree to disagree. I think i tried listening to this again a year ago or so and couldnt get into it. O i forgot how come, thats a dope song which i forgot.

I only rated it higher because of Royce. Had it been a solo Em album it would have been like 7/10 lol.

If I hadn't listened to Devil's Night before, I'd agree. The album isn't terrible, it has some good listens. But I really think it pales in comparsion to Devil's Night, and that's why it's so low for me. To me Devil's Night is everything D12 should sound like, it's got some of Em's best verses on it and the beats are amazing. The rest of the group is great too. With D12 World, I didn't think a lot of Em's verses were nearly as good as on Devil's Night, I didn't care for a good amount of the beats either. The only thing improved, in my eyes, from Devil's Night is the rest of the group grew as rappers.

That being said, there are a few songs from D12 World I do love, including How Come, Good Die Young, and American Psycho II.

That's only because of D12's unlistenable rappers ruining some of the best Eminem verses ever with their shitty, random and boring verses. With the exception of average rappers like Kuniva and Swifty McVay who are actually listenable. However, if I made my order based on ONLY Eminem verses, It'll be like

Devil's Night > Relapse > SSLP > MMLP > The Eminem Show > D12 World > Hell The Sequel > Recovery > Infinite > Encore

I actually thought today after listening to fight music how great an eminem album might of been between the mmlp and tes woulda been if he used his shit from devils night on his own. Taking fight music alone, with that hook and his verse, who knows

SSLP - 8/10
Had some awkward tracks, like If I had, brain damage, my fault, and Still don't give a fuck
MMLP - 10/10 would rate again
TES - 9.5/10 lyrically solid yet lacking something
Encore - 5/10 what kept me from giving it a 3 or lower was like toy soldier, encore, and one shot 2 shot
Relapse - 8/10 everything up to and including We Made You was very good, classic eminem. Not to mention one of his best songs 'Underground' is on this album.
Recovery - 7/10 . overall it wasn't that bad. It's message was good. But this line excerpt from Talkin' 2 Myself
