Who can record a album with 27 songs in 2 weeks?

Based God ;) And just because he recorded a bunch of songs in a small time span doesn't make it a classic. "Killuminati" >>> "Eyez" any day.

On the subject of Recovery, I dunno if I would call it a classic but it's damn, damn close. I got bored of the album very fast. Like less than a month after it came out, I got bored of it.

I definitely revoke my comment of it being a classic, but it gets better the more I listen to it. And as for the albums I listed on the first page, I listened to them again and have reshaped my list of classics.

The Slim Shady LP
The Marshall Mathers LP
The Eminem Show
Illmatic
Ready to Die
The Chronic 2001
The Black Album

Close:

Free Agent
Recovery
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

That's a banging list lol.

I think it's the least mainstream album Em has done yet. The lyrics are saying fuck mainstream fans that put me down during Encore-Relapse. There's no real "radio tracks" made for the radio ala "The Real Slim Shady" and "We Made You". I don't understand how "Love The Way You Lie" is even on the radio.

"Yeah, a song about domestic abuse? Let's put that on next to the new Flo Rida song!"

A track about masturbating to Hannah Montanna while murdering people seems like it would be even less popular. A few singles don't reflect an entire album's worth of content.

Its an amazing album, but not enough replay value to call it a classic. Not a single weak track, but I'm bored w/ it Atm. This album actually made me relapse back to listening to Relapse. Imo this album made Relapse look alot better. For example: My Ipod was on shuffle and it went from MBTG to Cinderella Man, and it really made me realize how shitty the beats are compared to Dre. Relapse > Recovery

Relapse is more a classic album than Recovery for me.

Yeah despite how much skepticism relapse got, it was close to the encore era.

Not that I REALLY enjoyed encore but the beats were at least good lol.
I just don't like the way hip hop has evolved with producers making dumb beats with spamming snares and lame fruity loops VSTs lol..

Beats are good for all the albums except for recovery haha.
But on the flip side, recovery has the best lyrical delivery since TES so...

So better lyrics maybe no, but I like more killer Slim Shady... :y:

I like old Em and he is on Relapse, it will be this.
