INAD Vid Review

Postby FreeSpeech » Feb 25th, '11, 02:34

Yeah I know this goes under reviews, but leave it for a lil so I can get actual responses, will ya?

WOW

I was pretty critical of INAD when we just had the audio, it was good, but not what we've waited over a decade for. But with the video? 10/10, both song and video. I was critical of Em yelling, but he HAD to yell for the video, it couldn't have been any other way. The beat was perfect for this song/video, a Dre beat wouldn't have worked.

I never get emotional or sentimental over most stuff, but this vid made some tears well up inside. The intro made me so nostalgic, with all the clips, especially the one of Pac. It was straight up eerie when Em and Snoop and all them had their heads bowed, looked like they were praying. Dre sitting at E's grave was so damn sad, and I didn't even like him.

As for not including Dre's son, he did, he was in the home videos. Plus, I bet he will get his own song on the album so I wouldn't worry bout that.

It is a great video and makes me appreciate the song even more. I've watched it three times, and every time I like it more than before :y:

It's a great video, it was really dramatic too, also it was plain out sick. Rating:10/10

Brain damage, ever since the day I was born
Drugs is what they used to say I was on
They say I never knew which way I was goin
But everywhere I go they keep playin my song.

Yeah, the song needs the video. Like, audio from an incredible movie without the actual film would kind of suck. But with the video? AMAZING. This is honestly one of the best things I've seen in a long time.

This video will go down in history as one of Dre's most important.

I loved that "We loved him a lot, but God loved him more" on Eazy-Es grave :'(
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Loved it. I mean, it was a little weird, but I liked it a lot.
I really liked the beginning of Dre's verse, when he was exercising and would rap the end of the line when he'd come up. It fit really well with the sound of his verse.

Of course, I liked the old clips, too. The end with Eazy E's grave was good, but I never really liked Eazy E much at all. Regardless, video turned out really well.

The nostalgia was amazing, and I loved seeing old clips of Dre, his family videos, Pac, Eminem blonde again and when they all bowed their heads together (I forget where I've seen it before, pretty sure it was before a concert).

The only bad thing is...I was hoping to see a clip or a picture of Em in a yellow jumpsuit lol

Agree with every word :y:

Looking forward to detox now :) I think it will be a solid final album.

What Dre should have done was reveal the release date of Detox (subliminally) at the very end

If we have those expectations the album will fail. That is why I struggled with Recovery for a long time(Forever,Drop the World,Despicable) Got me so hyped up for Recovery.. Only now I am beginning to appreciate it a lot more(Same thing happened when I first heard relapse I was disappointed)

I'm sure that would have happened if he knew when he was planning on releasing it  :shakehead:

Video was pretty good. Only thing I didn't like was Em's hand movements during the first verse (He seems to do them in every video/live performance nowadays but they're pretty funny lol). Also I don't know if it was SG as the angel type thing but that was also kinda weird looking...
