buffalo bill

Imo buffalo bill is the greatest lyrical song. If u wanna learn about multis, internal rhyme, wordplay, story telling, slant rhymes, flow, catchy chorus making, great opening lines to verses, rhyme patterns or anything else with just the structure of rap, this song will teach u.
I'm not saying this is my favorite eminem song ever but it seriously might be top 5 and is the greatest song just bassed on straight lyrics alone
be the best you can be, and if thats not good enough for people... than fuck em

I think Stay Wide Awake is the better song, but BB is also incredible. Like I mentioned in the EM horrorcore thread that I made, it blows my mind how anyone could think that Em lyrics have "fallen" post "Prime" era, when a song like this literally blows anything out of the water.

I agree. There's no way Eminem has fell off lyrically. Fair enough he might not write another Lose Yourself or Sing for the Moment again, but some of the material he has released since his combat is very impressive.

He did actually "fall off" lyrically during the Encore era. But even then, we did get Spend Some Time, How Come, Yellow Brick Road etc.

He has released have songs such as Deja Vu, Going Through Changes, You're Never Over, Stay Wide Awake, On Fire, My Mom, Insane etc. To say they're "weak" lyrically is ridiculous.

There's a lot of nostalgia for "prime" Eminem which is why some people blindly post things such as "New Eminem is poor lyrically!!!" without thought.

I've noticed the song that get most non-Eminem fans going crazy about is 'Stay Wide Awake', followed by 'It must be the ganja'.

This is of course the new Eminem, in the last few years.

I've played the above songs to people who hate Eminem, and they come out after it wanting so much more, reactions range from 'WTF why don't they play this Eminem on the radio more (duh) to 'WTF this guy is crazy'. WTF is the most common word said after it's played.

Most of refill and relapse could fit into your description of bufalo bill, but yeah i agree. one of my favorite songs by him since TES. accent works on this, just like it did on drop the bomb on em. refill has more enjoyable songs than relapse imo :y:

Buffalo Bill is underrated and gets a lot of unnecessary hate. This should have been on Relapse, to be perfectly honest. Insane lyrics and storytelling. The second verse is incredible.

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake
