The best freestyle that Eminem has done. Seriously, it's a little obvious that this was written for a song, but some of the lines by Proof are on the spot, man. That natural ability to do that is what makes Proof so great. Plus, the humorous exchange of rhymes is unbelievable.

I honestly don't think it was written.

40% was written, surely evident. He formed the rest of the lines around it. Some of the Multis seem to unreal to be spit on the spot, that's why I'm saying this.

I feel like Em's always dwarfed by Proof's immense freestyling skills.

The last line is so dope, it's crazy that he just though of that and free-styled. Even Eminem believes that Proof is the greatest freestyler.

Both are. I know Eminem was freestyling a lot back then, and was in great rhythm so some of his FREESTYLES might seem as if they were completely written. The truth, was otherwise. This freestyle in particular, changed the horizon of off-the-dome and pre-written stuff. Proof was definitely spitting some written lines, but less in compared to Eminem. That ken keniff line is too dope to be thought of and freestyle'd on the spot.

One more thing that I've noticed, when ever both of them are freestyling; the best has come from Eminem. It's like he was so confident with him around.

I've noticed this too...I wonder how Em's music would be today if Proof was still alive? He might be more confident. Royce is about as close to Proof as Em will ever get and Royce is cool and all but...he's no Proof.

I've noticed this too...I wonder how Em's music would be today if Proof was still alive? He might be more confident. Royce is about as close to Proof as Em will ever get and Royce is cool and all but...he's no Proof.

He'd be dead from overdosing.

I think this is a very likely possibility, but it's also possible that Proof would have snapped him out of it. Who knows? We never will. It's just interesting to think about sometimes.

Em truly realized the beef and everything was stupid when Proof died, then he kept overdosing because of his death, almost leading to his own, but luckily he didn't die and it fixed him.

The way I look at it one of them HAD to die. That's sad to say but it seems like the only option.

But this is about a dope freestyle so let's not be depressive lol

I guess, Kill You, here was talking from his musical point of view. It's true, he would have released average tracks and would have retired early. Proofs death, him relapsing somewhat brought him back to the original self. Sorry to say this, but it turned out useful.
