How do you think he did overall on the tracks he was featured. Tbh I love his features, we coulda done with a verse on Asylum but oh well...

Do you think Em did great, good, or shitty? Please, share with the class.

Good. I loved Asylum, the hook is spooky, his voice is amazing, and the beat is probably one of the best on the album for me. I liked his verse on Our House, and Throw That is just genuinely hilarious and catchy, just a great, fun song.

honestly hated Asylum, everything bout it.

the other where he did the hook was great

and Our house was good, liked the choppy flow. had some eh lines but some laughable ones.
voice idk.. i know hes tryin to do the old style but... just seems fake now.
wish he could not scream, but not try to sound like 99... just be normal lol

His hook was pretty okay on "Asylum", and his verse on "Our House" was meh. The hook he did for "Our House" was pretty cool tho, and so was the hook/bridge he did for "Throw That".

I think his verse on Our House is alright, his prehook on it was pretty great though. Not a fan of the Asylum chorus, the choppy punch in really annoys me and I feel like he could've done something better. Nice to see him playing around with different deliveries though.

The only thing i could complain about when he is vocally featured would be that his verse on On the House could have been better. Loved the flow, a few lines but could still be massively improved.

Other than that he was absolutely incredible. Throw that was mad funny, asylum was perfect sounding, the hook/ bridge/ intro On the House he nailed it.

Really like his hook on Asylum. The reception has been pretty polarized for some reason but I think it's good. His hook on Throw that is awkward, just like the rest of that god awful song :s His hook on Our House is good as well, might actually like that better than Asylum's hook. His verse is average at best.

The punch in the the hook? Yeah, I don't like that either. The only flaw on an other wise good hook, delivery and beat.

Yeah, other than that it's great for what it is.

Menzo wrote:I think I'm not so critical of his "Our House" verse because...he sounds like he really means what he says. I was never one to get panty bunched over a pause in the flow, it sounds different and I appreciate it. If I don't like something, I don't listen/talk about/guilt others for liking it lol.

I feel like it's just experimenting for his next style. People want him to revert to the old formula but I think him doing all these variations are just him trying to find something new and just as good and if not better than he used to be. So, though off topic and about a different album, I think his 8th will be great.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to comment on Throw That, I think it's awesome.

I'll say it again. The bridges (Our House/Throw That) were awesome. Not like just cool, but awesome. The bridge on Throw That is probably the best part of the song actually.

Surprised to see that people like Throw That...I love the song as well, just didn't expect it to get much praise. Good to see people recognize it's supposed to be a fun song.

His bridges and Hooks were Awesome. I was spellbound.
I hope the positive reception to it translates into an EM album full of his own hooks.
