I know I'm in a small minority but I actaully really like this song.

When I first heard it, I really disliked it but that was probably becuase I was expecting something completely different. The more I listen to it the more enjoy it.

The beat is one of the best on the album and it has some killer lines

Also, I hear people say they'd rather have Taking My Ball as Relapse's lead single but I couldnt agree less with this. Taking My Ball, for me, is embarassing to listen to, and yes, has nice rhyme technqiue and a good chorus but has too much boring un-funny content. We Made You also fits with the serial-killing theme of Relapse.

I find it incredible that people put this up there with Fack and Ass Like That as one of his worst songs when it is in a different league to those tracks and is a far better single than Just Lose It.

If he didn't employ the slight accent I think people would love it. Definitely for me one of the better tracks on Relapse.

Just kiddin, I agree with you. I listen to it from time to time. The beat is great and the hook is amazing. I dont get why some of you dislike this hook, its really nice and smooth, a beatiful female vocal. Accent is the only bad thing about it, but okay. I got used to it.

well I can agree with you, that the song has some nice lines and it surely fits good as Relapse's first single. it's a good song all in all, I guess, as you've pointed out
and the video is really funny, I enjoyed it the first few times

but I personally just don't like this song as a whole. some parts are good for me, but it's too much of this celeb-bashing and poppy single-pattern and I never liked his firsts singles, I usually find them annoying right from the beginning
so I'd do good without and would've enjoyed Relapse without this song as much as I do now

but I was expecting such a song as he always did one, so wasn't dissapointed
and from all this kind of songs he has done, this one is in the top 5 for me

I'm not a fan of the video. There's too much going on, like Em was trying to fit as much in as possible. Nowhere near as good as The Real Slim Shady or Without Me.

I think that hardly any of the tracks were suitable for a single so I guess WMY was one of the last he made becuase he needed a watered down track that would show the content of the album for a single.

yeah, agree with that and the song is a good first single for that
I just don't like the sound, but besides that it's well made and has its qualities, no doubt

and I know he has songs they're more fucking around with celebs, I just wanted to say in which line I see this song and took this as an example. that's what I remember most of when I think of this song - and I guess the video deepened this impression

that's another thing I don't like about this song: when I think of We Made You the video is the first thing that comes to mind and not the song itself. the song hasn't left a line or a melody in my head or anything else of the sound - but only the video.
so for me it's not a memorable song and that's a quality a great song should have
