Space Bound

EDIT: BEST SONG EVER. BETTER THAN LIFE ITSELF. BETTER THAN HAVING A SHIT IN A WARM BATHROOM ON A RAINY AFTERNOON WHILE LISTENING TO THE SLIM SHADY LP.

Alright track.

Brilliant track, love the production, as I said in another thread, this song struck a major personal chord with me
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

this song, along with a few others (LTWYL, 25 to Life, TTM) on the album, just sounds weird when it transitions from eminem to the hook.

the lyrics in this song are somewhat basic
ahead of my time, in my prime, one of a kind, out of my mind

Rhyme wise it seems to be structured in a quite simple way although it contains some decent multis such as Torturous/sorceress/dangerous (first verse).

The flow is quite good too since it fits the beat and the message he wants to have across perfectly. I know it's not done in a fast-paced way but I still find it good.

Lyrically it's probably the story telling that's the main attraction; It's done in a chronologically manner while he managed to capture an emotion I think every guy faces at least once in their life.
"We touch I feel a rush
We clutch it isnt much
But its enough to make me wonder whats in store for us..."

"So after a year and 6 months its no longer me that you want"

"I'll blow my brains in your lap
Lay here and die in your arms
Drop to my knees and I'm bleedin
Im tryin to stop you from leavin
You wont even listen so fuck it
Im tryin to stop you from breathin
I put both hands on your throat
I sit on top of you squeezin
Til I snap ya neck like a popsicle stick
Aint no possible reason I could think of to let you walk up out this house
And let you live"

^^Those are my favourite story telling lines/parts.

As for the production, I think it's pretty good; Catchy and melodic, while the hook is something you'll remember and are able to sing along to.

This. I wasnt that thrilled with this song at first, but now I love it. Rhyming is pretty simple for the most part, but I think its better that way. I dont really need too much complexity in there. Chorus is kinda weird, but for some reason, it gives me chills sometimes. I like it.

Overall, great track IMO.

And I still think that Seduction is the worst track on Recovery. THAT beat is just too fuckin unbearable and slow, which makes his flow boring. The lyrics are great, but the delivery and flow....skip, skip, skip....

That's a decnt multie it sounds kinda stupid when he says "dangerous". Dunno, though.

Song is growing on me, mind.

It's a 6/10 for me.

The flow at the end of all verses sounds choppy to me and I can't ignore that.

I feel like he perfectly described how many relationships happen, or what they go through, for that alone it's a great song because so many can relate :y:
