What makes it great is not only the lyrical content, rhymes and such things, but also that you know that he wrote it when he was really down. It is honest talk all the way through.

The best song ever created imo. A lyrical masterpiece, a piece of art. Nothing ever made will top this.

This, along with Sing For The Moment, are the two perfect Eminem songs. This song just couldn't be improved.

Incredible, the multies in the first verse are amazing - to still have the technical ability while conveying shit loads of emotion is a fucking hard skill to master. Executed perfectly.

One of his best introspective songs still.

And part the reason is because he doesn't scarify any element of his abilities for it.

By the time we got to "When I'm Gone" it just felt like whenever he was introspective he became slow and repeititve. And predictable. I know the pills had a lot to do with it by that song too but even so.

Where as with that song, his rhyming and flow are still so on-point. Even "It's OK", for the same reasons. Nothing is compromised. He's got back to somewhat that quality with introspection on Recovery. But I'm done with his life issues now, I just want to hear creativity.
