Soooo.

Main critic about this album is the same as often: Eminem always raps like he's in a freestyle or a battle(as technic and fast as possible)I'm thinking about Psycopath killer and Right for me, for example. The best song for me are Fine Line, Vegas and Guts over Fear where his flows are adapted to the beat.

Vegas is actually really dope, I'm quite surprised. Shady XV is quite fun, mainly because of the references to past Eminem. Not a classic though.

Also terrible hook in Die Alone, too bad the rest of the song is pretty good.

Overall the hooks are kind of weird on this record don't you think? Yelawolf's one on PK is, indeed, a killer. Classic hook he should do more of them.

Twisted is weird but actually not that bad, and has a great Yela hook.

Not a big fan of Right for Me. I know people are going to yell at me but it's always the same thing: Yes the lyrics are crazy, yes what he does is really hard. NO it is not a good song, too much noise, not enough simplicity.

Great simple music is hard to do, but it always the greatest. Think about Lose Yourself for example. It's like he said himself: dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dem dem dem dem dem

For me he's trying too hard. But I can't blame him, he's written so many classics, I wouldn't know what to do next if I was in his shoes.

Yup, i just youtubed the lyrics version and damn, he went in very deep with that song, i guess i've never actually pai attention to the lyrics of the songs on that album, think i might have to go back and have a Recovery listening session and just pay attention to the lyrics

Hmm, not sure.

Actually GtC is the dopest on Recovery for me. But it has great lyrics here and there. I like Talking to Myself, Seduction, No Love(I love the Lil Wayne verse even better than Em's one on this one but the beat is meeh), 25 to life is cool too.

2 songs in. Lose Yourself demo was average. Shady XV was great. The guy in PK's hook sucks but Yela makes up for in the hook.

Has anyone suggested having an entire section dedicated to whatever new album comes out? So instead of one huge clusterfuck thread, we could have a section dedicated to the album, so then people can make topics about more specific stuff about the album. Would definitely make reading about what everyone is saying/thinking about the album a lot easier.
