Relapse is the last album by Eminem mainly produced by Dr.Dre. It was Eminems come back, and could be described as the debut of the "new" and sober Eminem.
GKMC is Kendrick Lamars debut album. It is also mainly produced by Dr.Dre. It is a new style for Kendrick and is very popular and was very successfull.
Both albums did well. But the question is, which do you think is better?
If you can not compare other artists albums and this is a very stupid thread please delete it. I thought it would be cool to compare since they're both some what debut albums.

GKMC is much better, and I don't think one beat on it was actually produced by Dre. And also, Relapse wasn't received well, especially not in comparison to GKMC.

I think Relapse is better. I love it. Very fun listen. A few amazing tracks. A lot of replay and fun tracks.

Relapse is a colossal trainwreck with a few good songs scattered along a pretty much mediocre album, it's almost mixtape like quality level. And I don't mean like Dedication 2 but more like some shoddy papoose mixtape with a bunch of amateur freestyles tacked on to meh beats. What an insult to kendrick, and I'm not even his biggest proponent either.

I wouldn't say the beats are meh....and I don't think they're amateur freestyles either. But yeah, it's an insult to compare fucking RELAPSE to GKMC.
