Earlier this month, 50 Cent confirmed the arrival of a new G-Unit album this November. Kicking back with MTV, he says the collective will release a mixtape first prior to the LP. As far as the album goes, Fif says they’re still searching for the ideal single. At least everyone is on the same page.
“We’re still trying to find the song that defines the record and then we’ll be able to work off that record. The formula we used to make albums in the past [is] I’d actually come up with one joint, one song that kinda felt like, ‘This is what the record should be like,’ and then sequence the rest of the record to follow that.”
