Haha anybody can do that and make it look real. Seriously doubt it was planned.

But isn't Dizaster's Twitter name "mrdizaster," not DIZASTER?

That's his "@" name, your profile name shows up on Direct Messages and his is DIZASTER.

Things I find hard to believe about the screen shots:

1. Math vs. Dizaster was the headline of the event, and the headline was announced on May 20, 2014...so people knew Dizaster vs. Math was going to be the last battle of the event way before June 24. Isn't June 24/25 way too close to the date of the event (June 27) to be organising important aspects of the event like the order in which battles are going to occur? That would have been decided and locked in long before.

2. It's pretty suspicious that a KOTD staff member (seems like it, anyway) would be encouraging someone to be violent at the event he's trying to promote.

not really, Lush is pretty much a waste of space anyway. and you get more views and hype in the long run. lmao at people saying its bad for business. there is a reason why Math is still battling after 3 fights lol

also, they removed the gates. there were gates around the battlers friends every match except that one. also, the fact that Diz randomly stops and says "i should punch you in the face for that" at that exact second Diz's boys step up behind him.

also, the fact that everyone in battling right now is accusing Lush and Daylyt of setting it up...

its kinda confirmed guys

Both had some good stuff.

Dizaster's "I'm 'bout to get rid of this mathematician" stuff was nicely put together. A nice mix of rhyme pattern variation, math-related wordplay and personals all in the one scheme.

It's interesting that when Dizaster has to repeat a line because the crowd interrupted him, the line he runs back is often different to the one he originally said. I think it kinda confirms that he doesn't actually sit down and write out his bars...he just knows what the final rhyme of the scheme is going to be and the order of the rhymes that build up to it, and he improvises the rest. Probably how he seems to generate so much energy in his delivery rather than a lot of performers who seem stiffer because they sound like they're reciting.

I think I've also figured out how he does the mid-round freestyles, too. I don't think he memorizes rounds but rather memorizes schemes. He'll have about 9 different schemes in his head. Let's say he memorizes the first letter from each scheme. Then he'll be standing around with ABCDEFGHI in his head. He'll perform the A scheme, then do a small freestyle about some dude next to him taking out his phone. Then move on to scheme B. Then freestyle. And so on. Charron uses the same technique. Kid Twist memorizes rounds but somehow replaces his weak planned bars with rebuttals...not sure what memory technique he uses to do that.

I think it explains why Dizaster often goes over the time limit in his verses. He'll use too many of his planned schemes in one of his rounds, and then won't have enough planned schemes to fill up another round, so he'll have to do some stupid freestyled rebuttals to fill up space. That's what happened with his third round here against Math Hoffa. Weak as fuck. It looked like he had to use schemes he wasn't even planning to use in that battle...similar to what he did against Pat Stay at the end.

Edit:

Kid Twist probably cuts his round into two parts either side of the weak bar and memorizes the first chunk leading up to it and the second chunk after it. If he thinks of a good enough rebuttal to replace the weak bar, he'll rap chunk 1, slide the rebuttal in, then move on to chunk 2. Makes sense. Which means he'll have to memorize about 6 different chunks as well, kind of like Charron and Dizaster. The seamless written-freestyle-written-freestyle transitions these guys do require a lot more preparation than your average battler.
