Slaughterhouse (2009) album appreciation

I honestly thought this album was pretty good, but I'd like to point out that the production really stole the show for me. I didn't really care for a lot of the verses. Royce is always fun to listen to, but that's because he's Royce. I think they had a pretty solid chemistry on this record, but I felt like they lacked the technical elements that rappers like these guys should have in most of their verses. Not to say that the lyricism wasn't decent, I just think it wasn't really 100%.

To really critically examine this record, I'd probably need to listen to it again a few more times to really share my thoughts, but I think it's dope.

I agree with your statement. I also think that the vast majority were in denial and trying to convince themselves it was dopeI also think that the vast majority of members who liked the album and heavily praised it when it dropped, no longer feel the same.

shit was piff imo not a classic but a solid good album none the less
