I like it, but I feel like Black Thought is getting more and more buried in the mix with every album. More verses from him and less features, me thinks.

EDIT: Especially since he's got a great singing voice on him, you don't need this metric shit-ton of female hooks.

Tbh even the black thought verses here are a farcry from his Game Theory-Rising Down days (hell even from his How I got over) they just felt like he was on autopilot and just so meh. Which is a damn shame as he's so capable of more. I will say though that Phrenology-Game Theory really should be considered solo albums, I mean if MBDTF & liquid swords can be called solo efforts than Game Theory without a doubt a black thought album front to back other than it haven the roots stamp in the front rather than Black Thought.

But yeah this just felt so rushed and kinda lazy even more than... yeezus, lol. Oh yeah I will defend Truck North to the death though his verse in Bread & Butter is fantastic and one of the best verses in GT.

I don't think you know it's almost recovery levels bad, maybe I'm just some disappointed stan but I honestly think it's probably on that level. Arguably worse, dunno.

well considering you think Undun is good and I'd hesitate to even say that and you think this album is this bad makes me think album will just be horrendous….but yeah you're probably just a disappointed stan who's exaggerating how bad it will be so I don't think it will be Recovery bad

Hey you gave undun a 3.5 I'd probably give it the same maybe a 3 idk. & at least recovery had GTC and not gonna like I like his "I'm alive again song" whatever that was, almost reminds me of rap god. This album just had me wishing songs would end and even if it's rly short it felt long and dragged out af. With certain songs just being a hook or a singer over some boring piano driven beat. Rly this review sums it up perfectly
