well that's a stupid reason, art isn't rated on how limited you are when you create you're thing. It's all about the end result, you remind me of this guy who once said BB is better than the wire because the wire is too realistic and is just research based whereas BB is given more freedom and is more imaginative thus harder to create.

You're pretty much the inverse of that. Also what about mixtapes that are practically albums like Midwest/ and Mood Muzik 2 Or Asap rocky's? In this day and age mixtape is a meaningless bullshit term that has no real weight.

50 is right. Arguable, though, because Lil' Wayne is overrated as fuck too.

No if anything he's been underrated by people who overlook his mixtapes and base his legacy of shit like Rebirth.

By the general public yes lil wayne is extemely overrated. He's not a bad rapper or anything haha. I think he needs to be more selective with what he puts out, cuz he puts out so much crap that the bad stuff just eclipses the good.

I guess he's like lil b in that regard, but I honestly just take the best albums or mixtapes of an artist and just listen to that and completely ignore the shit albums when rating him among the greats. Just like people do that with directors or old sacred cow artists like Bowie (for some reason), or Interpol (who listens to that second interpol album, lol). And with the internet it's increasingly easy to find out which albums are worth your time or not, so yeah just look at who has the propendarance of quality material.
