And is compressed as fuck. You can barely make out half the shit that's going on in a song. It's nice to have on your phone or whatev, but on a computer, laptop, or anything with a lot of storage space, I highly recommend FLAC for the best listening experience.

My phone only has 16gb and I have 700 songs. I can't.

You -could- fit 700 320kbps songs on about 8GB. Or at least I did. Maybe a bit less than 700.

Basically, the point is, don't go for anything below 320kbps mp3.

320kbps mp3 are the one I look for, if its lower then that then forget it. Also it seems that I can't use FLAC because I'd use iTunes.

This. I also go for 320 mp3 format. I lazy to find aflac files online. Most of my songs are underground, unofficial shit.

Okay, sorry to bump this, but just to drop some new knowledge.

AFLAC doesn't exist as a file type. What OP probably meant was ''ALAC'' which is short for Apple Lossless Audio Codec. It's basically a replacement for FLAC in iTunes. When ripping the CD to iTunes, if you choose to rip it in Apple Lossless (Edit > Preferences > General Tab > Import Settings), nothing from the original file on the CD gets compressed, so it's the most faithful to what the artist made. By ripping it in AAC/MP3/WAV you get a lot of compression, which basically means it's throwing away tracks it assumes you can't hear, which isn't what you want if you have a solid piece of headphones/speakers.

Just my two cents.
