Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

eh, my least favorite is poetic justice. it's not that it's particularly bad, it just gets boring

I feel you. I'm not even sure I can rate GKMC, let alone top 10 Kenny songs. But I know for sure Backseat Freestyle is at the bottom of the GKMC list. Gottt dayummmm

Sherane needed to be shorter,
Its a great track at pulling you into gkmc's themes and vibe, and is a pretty good story, but it just drags on story wise, and doesnt evolve much beat wise, if it was a quick 2 minute intro i think it woulda been great, but yeah i agree, just because of the length

sherane is another song better than peer pressure, it is inspired by Andre 3000 - A Day in The Life of Benjamin which is the GOAT storytelling tracks. One of the best songs on that album :flutter:

edit: shit, I forgot to put Sherane on my list :facepalm

and thats why sherane is GOAT... it was influenced by the ultimate goat storytelling track :flutter:

Sherane start off with

"I met her at this house party on El Segundo and Central, she had the credentials of strippers in Atlanta."

A Life in the Day

"I met you in a club in Atlanta Georgia, said me and my homeboy were coming out with an album."

both songs are just long verses, with similarish atmospheric beats that reminisce on old girlfriends of the rappers when they were young.

A great tribute that completely stands on its own as a track. :worship:

Just discovered "I Hate You" and goddamn, that went straight into my top ten. Incredible track (even though I can't stand that let's just say I had a bad day line)
