nah he's just vague poetic pseudo emo abstract shit, also his beats should be given to someone better. BSBD is too good for him. WAAAY to gud.

Even in TBA though, I thought wow this could be really interesting trip-hop than I get treated to the most emo album in existence with a really annoying white guy bitching about 1st world problems. His beats if they were beat tapes could be 10/10, but his songs are like 2/10.

I did legit listen to Seven Devils though, cause solace recommended it, and I was loling my ass off at it. Serious, not trolling. Not really trolling with the above paragraph either though.

well most of this country is white and a 1st world country so those are common problems. rap is for more than the ghetto. and sadistik is still an amazing rapper whether his subject matter is emo or gangsta

I knowI just find his musings really boring, juvenile, and stupid. Dunno, maybe if I still liked Catcher in the rye I can identify with that type of music, otherwise. :nope:

And Slug does these greatly in Lemons, it also isn't a racial thing either, which is why I find rappers like J cole really boring or most drake clones. Same for Kanye clones.

Yeah like Sountrack to My Life is AWFUL, and puerile and just vomit inducing with how helplessly self indulgent and shitty it is, but I guess that's just me. Maybe I'm a sociopath?

he was pretty juvenile. he said he wrote november when he was 16. most of it was written way before he released it i think.

also soundtrack to my life is more about being a drunk anthem and the melody of the song. kid cudi obviously isn't a good lyricist.

I unno every time ST2ML comes on, I always hear a "Uhh this is so relatable", and I'm just like "really", lol. I know I sound like a pretentious jerkhead but i duncurr, I'd expect that maybe in HS but not in College, lol. Also I find him really annoying, vocally. Day N Night is cool though.

i mean they are really empty and cliche emotional lyrics but those are pretty relatable to people who don't listen to a lot of music.

I got 99 problems and they all bitches

But they all didn't see, the little bit of sadness in me, Scotty

I've got some issues that nobody can see
And all of these emotions are pouring out of me

Just to show the kids they ain't the only ones who up at night

you can't see how those would be relatable to people

j. cole is kinda average most the time.

like, he kinda talks in broad strokes and shit. doesn't really have nice insights and desriptions that kennie or andre or blu has, y'know.

class is a stan, so, y'know. u agree somewhat tho?
I'm not tryin to be rude, but I sincerely wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth
