relating to emo rap doesn't mean that you're some emo hipster douche, everyone is human and has ups and downs and sometimes in their downs can relate to music they wouldn't blast when they're in their ups. I love spoonfull but I wouldn't say I'm a hipster or emo at all. I'm an extremely happy person with a great life and pretty popular tbh (not to be douchy, just saying) but Im still able to recognize that spoonfull is at least an amazing writer. He's not a traditional rapper, he's more like a folk artist seen through the lens of a rap artist with the way his lyrics are less detailed and more vague and dealt more towards feelings than descriptions.
