I think hopsin is possibly the most overrated rapper atm, i dont think hes terrible hes got some talent, but hes nothing special, and certainly isnt "hip hops saviour" whatever the fuck that means, also he does some of the cringiest things, like that song he made about an imaginary girlfriend he made up...

He also has one of the worst fanbases ive seen...
Still gonna listen to the track when it drops though, but im not hanging on the edge of my seat

I'm going to break down my feelings on Hopsin:

Pros
- Sick flow
- Rhymezzz*
- Flashes of great lyrics/train of thoughts/content
- Unbelievable mic presence, his delivery is catchy as fuck
- Great singing hooks

Cons
- * Sacrifices what he wants to say for a forced rhyme in a forced rhyme scheme
- Terrible punchlines at times

- Crooked I/Tech N9ne syndrome = 'I wanna rhyme this, so instead of saying something meaningful, I think I'll rhyme this' ****

With that said, I still bump Knock Madness while at work, I love the album but I do sometimes have to skip songs or just cringe a bit when his cons come up.

**** Meaningful lyrics and rhyming aren't mutually exclusive, but at times I feel like Hopsin thinks they are.
