I agree but in all fairness I've been paying a lot less attention to music this year so I'm probably sleeping on a great deal of new and fantastic albums for all I know

There's only been a few rap albums I bump a lot from this year. Illmaculate's 'Clay Pigeons' and Bas' "Last Winter" in heavy rotation. The former is majority all lyricism so not great party music tbh, Bas has some nice songs though to vibe out to.
