The Roots - Game Theory
Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels
Blu & Exile - Below The Heavens
OutKast - ATLieans
Madvillain - Madvillainy
Freddie Gibbs & Madilb - Pinata
The Roots - How I Got Over
OutKast - Aquemini
Chance The Rapper - Acid Rap
Also, from class's list, if you don't like rly Atmosphere & Eyedea (which is completely fine), I wouldn't bother with Sadistik, Spoonfull, Sage Franics, Cage and Mac Lethal
Game Theory, Below the heavens and How I Got Over are all albums i want to check out.
Cool, I'd probably do it in that order, or maybe even Below The Heavens first. Blu's potentially quite relatable, stream-of-consciousness styled accounts of a young cruiser.
bigray wrote:Yesterday was the first time i listened to Eyedea and I really enjoyed the album "by the throat" the production is awesome as well. I'm a fan of Atmosphere now, i really think slug is dope, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold is a fantastic album imo. Outkast I absolutely love and I have all of their albums.
In that case, I would maybe check out Sadistik but put the other 5 on low priority.
All those albums I recommended should be on class's list of ratings, except for Madvillain, which is an absolute essential, for the production alone. MF Doom is a potentially little bit hard to get into at first though.
Here's my version of the same styled list, but not as many albums. But maybe to get a better feel of albums we both highly recommend.

Also, Reloaded is a great album, but I'd recommend to get through the more established essentials first.
