Andre's verse in sixteen is godly more than a Black Thought album even I'd really like an Andre solo even though he had perfect chemistry with Big Boi whereas Malik B is just like a poor man's BT (sry M-ilitant)

I always wondered how godly a roots, outkast, or organized konfusion album would be if say Black Thought in his prime formed a duo with Andre. Completely random but it always feels like duos have that one member that completely outshines that other one even if the other rapper does bring something different and has great chemistry with the other. The only time this didn't happen that I can recall where the rappers were really different & contrasted each other and were almost dead even skill wise (or whatever) would be blackstarr.

Either How I got over or Game Theory it's their most easily accessible and leanest albums. Illadelph & even things fall apart can be kinda hard to listen to for beginners and forget Phrenology, lol

yeah phrenology is fantastic but it's one hell of a bipolar listen (simultaneously being their poppiest & most experimental album), if you REALLY like black thought & don't wanna hear any weed carriers than I guess I'd recommend phrenology after GT since it's also a solo album and it has two kweli features.

Listen to Phrenology, if you love it.... then listen to Game Theory.

If you loved that then listen to How I Got Over.

Then you can choose to continue exploring their newer material (Rising Down, Undun), or dive into their work from the 90's (I recommend Things Fall Apart (I consider this their best), and Illadelph Halflife).

thanks m8 :y: the way you guys are describing Phrenology, it sounds like something i'll love. gonna check that out after i give Animal Ambition its day in court.

You'd love this but it reminds me of the banana album in that regard seeing as both are scattershot and can be crazy experimental (Heroin/Water) yet really poppy (Sunday Morning/The Seed 2.0)
