While I find neither to be my cup of tea, I find that GKMC obviously is better. I'm not a big Kendrick fan, but he obviously put all of his effort into that album, and wanted it to be good, rather than just shitting out an album as fast as he could in order to get an album out. Relapse just simply does not have a lot going for it, besides Déjà Vu (and My Mom to a lesser point), even the production seems generic considering how similar each song is to each other.

Not a lot, actually. I used to be a hip-hop enthusiast, I don't really know what happened. I gotta take time during the summer to listen to a lot of albums to sort of "reeducate" myself tbh
