In this part, I think he says "spits" instead of "shits". Tech commonly refers to himself as "socrates", and "psycho scripts" probably means "crazy lyrics". "scripted syphilis" is Tech's way of saying "sick lyrics" (syphilis is a form of sickness). So he's basically saying "Tech spits crazy lyrics, they're sick" (though in a rather awkward manner).
okay that makes sense now. But I think this is a perfect example of why tech is so bad. You explained exactly what he meant, everything he said in those lines, in less words than he used. If I was explaining an Eyedea line it would take a paragraph. Accor once said that tech none says simple things in a complex way and that's the root of why he's such a poor lyricist.

While I'm not defending Tech N9ne (don't care for him at all), I just wanna say that old being able to explain complex things in a simple manner in the best way is an outdated or archaic almost elitist manifesto that pretty much just prioritizes the punk rock manifesto. As if heavily obfuscating lyrics with thick and dense metaphors or cryptic slang rather than outwards saying it inferior. Of course you like Lupe & Aesop Rock so you're aware of this I guess, but I dunno too many people parrot that journalistic way of writing which shouldn't at all be the norm for art (and yeah I know journalism can be an art).
Like Ghostface is heavily dense and cryptic with a lot of slang being employed but it works especially for his storytelling songs and sometimes you can't even parse meaning from his lines but they sound good and he doesn't speak in broken english so...
what specifically should he have done differently? because the verse is bulletproof as far as I'm concerned, what more do you want?

It's not about condensing words, it's about filling out 16 bars (typically) worth of properly-spanned syllables that rhyme as well as possible. That's what rap is, otherwise you're just talking with rhythm. If you want tech to fit a novel into a verse he can do that too, but you've made it clear that you're not into the chopping.

I expect it to still have good lyricism. Straight rhyming tracks without lyrics are terrible and the easiest songs in the world to write. Go to the CW section and you'll see raps filled with multis.
Not every song is about cutting your wrists and crying, get over it.
This comment just shows how out of touch you are with everything you're talking about. No one said anything about this. There are tons of good just straight fun and/or braggadocio tracks that still have good lyrics. Sadistik's verse for example. I don't mean emotion when I say substance.

It's not about condensing words, it's about filling out 16 bars (typically) worth of properly-spanned syllables that rhyme as well as possible. That's what rap is, otherwise you're just talking with rhythm. If you want tech to fit a novel into a verse he can do that too, but you've made it clear that you're not into the chopping.
It's about saying the most you can with the least amount of words. Substance. And no that's not what rap is about at all. RAP IS ABOUT WAY MORE THAN RHYMING. I want you to just acknowledge that you don't care about lyrics and only care about rhyming and that's why no one likes the same shit that you do.
