He said that he loves Kendrick but doesn't think his album was the best album of its year or even the best album of the last few years. He also said that Kendrick is nowhere near being the best lyricist, naming King Los, Logic and Cassidy as more lyrical than him.

yeah but lupe been jealous for a while now. He always co-signs rappers and call them the best lyricists out and then diss them when they get too big. There isn't a single popular rapper he hasn't been aggressive towards, either in interview, on tracks or on Twitter.

he's still my favorite artist but it is how it works with him but most people knew he was trolling as soon as he mentioned Logic or even Cassidy.
