New Nas " Your Droog" EP ??? 10 tracks ,using alter ego ???

On June 3rd, an unknown rapper by the name of Your Old Droog uploaded an EP on soundcloud. For an artist with no previous work, it was outstanding ,the production was good, his voice was raspy, and he sounded hungery to tear up the mic. As I delved deeper into it things started to get a little fishy.

His flow is very similar to Nas, their voices are similar, they both give the same "old wise rap legend" feel. Throughout the EP, the rapper makes numerous references to thing's in Nas' life from mentioning Illmatic to Nardwuaar interviews to him describing his failed love with a "singer chick".

Theres some obvious connections. In the song Gunsmoke Cologne, he mentions he plans to make 4 more albums. A 'new artist' who hasn't made any albums is speaking about releasing more "albums" as if he has already released a few.

On April 10, 2013, Mass Appeal magazine was revived as American rapper Nas ventured into the business of magazing publishing. As a businessman and investor, he invested an undisclosed six figure sum into the magazine, where he will serve as the publication's associate publisher

Either Mass Appeal editors are sifting through every new soundcloud account looking for talent or someone (like Nas) told them to post about it
