[Serious]

What albums help you when you're grieving or in a state of emotional pain?

The one in your avatar for one. :y:

It depends on the mood..... I went through really tough times about 2 years ago. Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska and some Jack Daniels got me through a few rough nights.

Jazz also relaxes me, anything from Davis, Mingus, or Monk does it for me.

Oh I see. Yeah I find both jazz and soul music to be very soothing.

Yeah I usually put on songs, not an entire albums

Phendra drifts from Metroid Prime >>>>
so soothing

But inspirational shit, I know its corny but Not Afraid honestly helps me not feel shitty.
Dead And Gone, 8 Mile, Lose yourself etc.

You gotta check out Nebraska if you haven't. One of the darkest and most depressing albums ever. Shit gets me every time I'm feeling low.... It's all acoustic and eerie, sets the perfect tone.

Thank you so much man :y: I'm gonna definitely check it out as soon as I get the chance.

I find that Jazz and Blues gets me through hard times better than hip-hop

Muddy Waters >>>

But as far as hip-hop albums.. hm.

I'm zoned the fuck out right now (working on a big paper), So I'd have to say God Loves Ugly, for now.
