WHERE THE FUCK IS MY BABY TAYLOR SWIFT? :facepalm

Smh @ MTV not including her :shakehead: :facepalm2
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

1. Michael Jackson
2. Madonna
3. Kurt Cobain
4. U2
5. Britney Spears
6. Metallica
7. Eminem
8. Jay-Z
9. Shakira
10. Robbie Williams

Okay, they got no.1 right with Michael Jackson. I don't think many people can deny that.

Madonna should also be there, but The Beatles - Even though I don't listen to them (but have done) practically influenced five generations lmao. And continue to, they wrere bigger than music. They deserve to be no.2 and Elvis should be three.

In reality, Eminem is a much better lyricist and musical mind than most people there but if we're talking ICONS, it's not just about the music. I'd say they got Em nearly right, surprisingly.

But Britney Spears? that's questionable lmao. She was huge but so was... Destiny's Child, Beyonce and many popstars / groups. She was an icon but... Nah, she doesn't deserve a spot in the top 10 icons of ALL FUCKING TIME. That's absurd.

Also SHAKIRA? and ROBBIE WILLIAMS? No no no :facepalm :facepalm2

And, 2Pac deserves a spot more than Jay-Z. He's a far biggger icon, and greater.

REAL list :smoking: =

1. Michael Jackson
2. The Beatles
3. Elvis
4. Madonna
5. Kurt Cobain
6. The Rolling Stones
7. Eminem
8. Prince
9. David Bowie
10. Tupac Shakur

And, I don't even listen to a lot of them. But I can still recognize their stature, legacies and the fact they're global icons. And putting Robbie Williams up there, when he didn't even properly break America is just silly, over people like Prince and Bowie too? Lmao.

MTV always fail, like Bizarre's verses..

I'm literally listening to No Love while writing this, and I heard that line in the hook right when I saw that post

How on earth is Jay-Z an icon?

Seriously, Jay has made people think he is.

Literally, before Beyonce came around, he was not even heard of outside of the United States. His highest selling album outside of the United States sold only 450K worldwide. How is that anywhere near iconic?

In terms of icons, he doesn't come anywhere near the likes of Bob Marley and Frank Sinatra who are excluded from the list, or even rappers like Biggie and Tupac (especially Tupac).

It amazes me how stupid the public can be when someone tries to convince you they are great.

EMBASE! Elvis nowhere below #2, him and the beatles are bigger than michael jackson every will be...they also didn't go all catholic priest on little boys :shifty:

Michael should be be no higher than 3, but embase the rest of yor list is really very good, I'd say it's my opnion, but I think the numbers themselves for the artists prove a lot. I mean 88,000 a year claim elvis impersonation as their full-time job...says a lot :sweating:

Jay-z and Eminem shouldn't even be there guys. It's a top 10 POP icons! :facepalm
PS:Maybe this is a list of the icons after 2000?Then it would make sense, tho i don't see how Robbie would fit there?Let's just say the others did have some sort of influence after 2000.

Nah I gotta agree that MJ is the biggest icon of all time. Even bigger than The Beatles. And I'm from Liverpool.

Lists like this are crap. Shakire? Icon? Aha. I`ll just name a few to replace Shakira-Bob Dylan, Elvis, Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Guns... MTV sucks.
