1.) Eminem was not the only cause of a ratings increase. Are you that ignorant? Lady GaGa, the biggest pop star right now (who just released a BRAND NEW SINGLE and who would be PERFORMING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME and who sold over 500,000 copies in less than a week) was also on the show. Justin Bieber, the biggest teen star right now was on the show, among many other people. There were countless advertisements in magazines, TV and radio that talked about many artists OTHER than just Eminem.

2.) The ratings were the highest since 2000, but last year's ceremony was almost just as high. The past few years the show has been going back up in the ratings.

3.) No one knows who the winners are before the envelopes are open. If they did, that shit would be leaking somehow, especially in 2011. It is all heavily guarded.

4.) No one used Eminem. When the nominations are announced, they haven't even voted on the winners yet. The people who create promotional ads for the show have no idea about who is winning, since no one knows.

5.) The past few years typically the highest reviewed album took the prize. Last year, Taylor Swift was the highest reviewed and she won. This year, Arcade Fire was the highest reviewed and she won.

6.) Stop saying Dre had a WTF face when they announced it. When Barbara read the award, she was stuttering the name and couldn't read so the nominees were all confused as who won, as were many viewers at home. Stop looking into things.
