dude, you can't just listen to an album once and say it's boring. especially an album like that. i have had that one for a few months, and it just started to grow on me a few weeks ago to the point that it got steady play. it takes time my friend, this isn't pop music here.
ahead of my time, in my prime, one of a kind, out of my mind

Best Rap Solo Performance. Yes, only 2 awards... good thing you didn't waste your time on this.

I don't understand how CBS could still overcensor stuff when they reheased this earlier.

For which performance? really though he won only 2 outta like 10 or 11, this is EXACTLY why I don't watch award shows. A buncha famous fuckers in suits and ties (and that one weird bitch who wears something outta the ordinary like horse cock earrings for attention) going on stage to accept awards they were told they would win in advance and giving boring ass speeches "id like to thank my manager, my wife, my son and 3 illegitimate kids, my Puerto Rican coke dealer, my maid who I fuck on thursdays, the autotune program I use and my retarded fans for buying this bullshit thank you and good night"
Also I know other people probably asked this before but wtf is the difference between album and record of the year? Unless this is still 1965.

I listened to the song not the album, I only download a full album without hearing a couple songs if it's by a artist I like or someone who has a good opinion on music suggests it to me. That was my first impression it might change some other time but for right now that shit just aint my kinda music, sounds like the kinda song thats played at mcdonalds.

Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

Eminem said it best on Till I Collapse, "I'll probably never get the props I feel I ever deserve." Snubbed for album of the year.

I think this line is a lil better: "You think I give a damn about a Grammy? Half my critics can't even stomach me, let alone stand me."

I thought of that line at the same time too haha. But that was 11 years ago he said that.

@venom - He won Solo Performance for "Not Afraid." And Record of the Year is for a song, given to the artist.

I mean which performance did he win it for? the one at the home and home shows with Jay?
I looked up the difference, song of the year is for the writer and record of the year is for the producers and the performing artist. So Dre deserves to win song of the year :shifty:

Anyone who considers this as nothing short of a robbery is clueless.

Simple as that.

The excuse that there's better music there than just this or that, whatever, stfu.

In 5 years time, these nobodies won't even be remembered.

The fix was set up when he was nominated, and was in full effect before his performance when they announced already that he had won 2 awards (before the rap album of the year was even announced) and hit its peak when he was robbed from at the very least 2 of the big 3 categories (Empire State of Mind would have been a proper winner for the Song of the Year).

The Grammy's are known worldwide as a joke. Just look through big award winners from past years, and look at the legacy of those songs/albums they won it for. Unlike the Oscars, where almost every award won is justified.

Eminem should forget about it, record some good songs for the movies he's coming out with soon, and hopefully again go for Best Original Score at the Oscars, where there is nothing but proper results.
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".

It's not for an actual performance. It's just for a song.

Anyone notice that Em wasn't sitting in the audience when they announced AOTY? They probably told him he wasn't gonna win, and he bounced. Good for him. I wanted Slaughterhouse to go 'Kanye' the stage though. That would've been priceless. :worship:
