And my guess is that the proportion rap-related "members", is certainly a minority. Also, most of these "members" are often past their prime/"have-beens". And rap artists are definitely not profiting from this fact. How many rap-albums have won a "album of the year" grammy?
Would like Em to recognize the Grammy dismissing of the genré rap on his next album. Let's create some controversy, Em!
BeautifulEscape wrote:Some people were wondering why "Empire State of Mind" was nominated this year and not last year. It's because the Grammy cutoff date was September 2009 for Grammys 2010 eligible nominees, and the song came out in October 2009. So it was too late for it to be nominated for last year's Grammys.
Also, it's not weird for Arcade Fire to have won AOTY, but not win in their genre. Most of the Grammy voters may have liked that other group's album the most in the category, so they voted for that and lead to a win. The voters' second favorite album of all genres (or just their favorite in the AOTY category) could have been Arcade Fire's, so when it came down to AOTY, most of the voters picked Arcade Fire since the group that won the genre category wasn't nominated. Does that make sense?
There are other explanations for this though. But being nominated for AOTY doesn't guarantee a win in the genre category.

if eminem didn't care about the money, like he claims, he woulda said fuck the grammys.
if eminem was all about the respect, from real hip hop fans, he woulda said fuck the grammys, fuck rihanna, fuck wayne, fuck radio bullshit rap.
syllables is eminem's opinion of the rap game. the opinion expressed in his songs is a scam to make more money, maybe his idea or his label's.... but if eminem really cared about respect (like he claims) he woulda been fine with relapse and it's unpopularity in the mainstream, he woulda been fine saying fuck you lil wayne you're bullshit and you sound like you suck helium before you spit. i'm gonna collab with REAL rappers and REAL lyricists.....

OKAY...like I've stated before, it shouldn't MATTER who is on what track, as long as the song is good then everything's good. I would have no problem with Em dropping a collaboration album WITH EITHER ONE, as long as the music was gonna be great

rihanna and wayne make those songs BAD. Also it's clear that eminem has inherited wayne's annoying habit to overuse punchlines.... a strategy that leaves me irritated and convinced that it took him no time at all to compile his list of bullshit, which often serves to explain nothing at all and is entirely meaningless.
