Is this a fucking joke?

B.O.B, K'Naan and Kid Cudi are all excluded from the Best New artist category.

I'm no Jay-Z fan, but he has been absolutely robbed here as well. Empire State of Mind is not in the song of the year, and most of all, Katy Perry gets in ahead of him for "Best album".

Unbelievable.

Record Of The Year:
"Nothin' On You" — B.o.B Featuring Bruno Mars
"Love The Way You Lie" — Eminem Featuring Rihanna
"F*** You" — Cee Lo Green
"Empire State Of Mind" — Jay-Z & Alicia Keys
"Need You Now" — Lady Antebellum

Eminem so far is nominated in everything he could be nominated for. Not Afraid was expected somewhat in Song of the Year, but seems like the judges don't want 2 songs from one artist.

Eminem is the clear favourite here for Album of the Year, but the clear favourite last year was Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift won.

If Eminem wins, he's only the 3rd Hip Hop act to win the biggest award after Lauryn Hill for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1999 and OutKast's Speakerboxx/The Love Below in 2003.

The fact B.o.B isn't up for Best New Artist is a fucking joke.

And the fact Drake is? I can't stand Drake but given the hype and popularity of him I can understand and appreciate his inclusion.

But NOT including B.o.B?...

Image

B.o.B is an amazing singer, great lyricist and rapper and all-round supremely talented and interesting artist. Effortlessly blends genres, commits to ideas and expression in fully.

And I know they have to take commercial effect into account = He had two international fucking hits, two of the biggest songs of the summer.

Yet robo-croon boy Drake who's music could be summed up with the word 'mundane' gets included but not him. He's so fucking irritating and lame, Lil Wayne 2.0.

Well Cudi did out a album out in 09, so he isn't a new artist

Cudi's first album came out September 15.

Isn't the cut off date September 1? Or is it September 30?
