I play the piano (a keyboard actually); well, I've just started learning how to.. I can play 4 songs right now, it's kinda my new hobby. It helps me think, 'cause certain tones can cater to certain thoughts and/or emotions, and vice versa, certain thoughts and/or emotions can cater to certain tones in music. And since a keyboard was affordable, I bought one..

I'm currently experimenting with that, lol. It's not that difficult if you put in some time... I've found out I can play some melodies without seeing the actual music notes on paper (or a computer screen for that matter). Doesn't work always, though. I guess I have a slight form of perfect pitch, or I was just experiencing luck for 3 times in a row.

both i started a rocker, lovin bands like blink 182, and eventually just fell in love with rap. I used to say rap was crap though :P

I started with scales because I didn't want to play other people's music. This was with the guitar, but I love the sound of the Blues and Dorian scales.

Ah, I started with rap and moved to rock. Kind of an opposite exodus for myself. I'm currently working on a new sound that I haven't heard in the music I've listened to thusfar...sort of a fusion of psychedelic and indie grunge with rap.

I play a little guitar and piano... I'm definately not that great, but it helps to create melodies and I sometimes record guitar for my beats. I wish I was better tho, it would definately be useful lol
