Postby Ethos » Sep 2nd, '07, 17:10

don't pay attention to views lol, unless there's some kind of conversation in the thread, there's always like 8-10% of replies, compared to views and that includes the thread starter's replies lol

and yeah, it's a nice beat... the drum pattern was good, but I thought the sounds could be a little better... like, they could sound a little "warmer"... but I liked the scratching parts that came in once in a while, that's probably my favorite element in this beat :y: nice piano too.... good job on this beat :y:

Drums were solid, the piano was tight. The melody in the chorus was cool. That crash thing every other bar kind threw me off though. But it's probably the best I've heard from you. Good work :y:

piano was cool but something about it seemed off like a note was off. those hats got real annoying after a while. the piano was pretty cool, i wasn't feeling the clap or snap it needed more to it, maybe another deep snare that was just less volume. the melody in chorus was nice, but it i think you shoulda made it more background in the speakers

overall pretty coool..

Thanks everyone.

@ Mart- what do you mean by warmer? like making the beat seem happier?

@ Iceaxe- Lol I probably threw off a lot of people with that little crash. It's one of the new elelments I use in beats. :8)

@ Tash- I think when you say a note was off your talking about the piano pattern and how it raises one Octave. Am I right? And that clap sound. I kind of get where your coming from. It's just a placeholder cuz I'm using the beat to perform with my sister at our school talent show this year. She's singing so i thought the clap might be necessary.

@Maybe- Hm... a little Rawish you saw........ *Thinks of what to add* Something will hit me one day. Anyways thanks for the feed. and the compliment on the drums.
