Reason Problem

I got a problem with Reason. I can play the sounds with my Keyboard but if I want to record it dosen´t record ! What I´m doing wrong ? Please help me !!

erm....is whatever sampler ur usin plugged into/runnin through the mixer?


....u know its gotta be playin when u record...


when u open a new file make sure the first thing create is a the masterin suite, then right click that and create a mixer then right click that and create ur sampler e.g. malstrom, nn-xt, subtractor redrum etc then they will all be running through the mixer which they need to be to all be heard and they are also all being mastered with the same machine

yeh that looks perfect just make sure u have record and play pressed, set up a loop so uve got a few seconds to get ready and it shud work with no problems, are the notes comin up on the sequencer when u record??

If I press play and record I can play the notes but if I press stop it didn´t record something

I got it from a german site http://board.gulli.com/ there you got to register and you can download things at rapidshare but it´s all in german but if you want to download something I could translate just pm me

make sure ur in the sequencer and have clicked on the correct sampler so u can see the piano notes on the screen in the sequencer

If I´m in the sequencer and look at the notes I can draw some notes but if I want to record they don´t appear

ive realised what ur doin wrong mate, on each channel on the sequencer e.g. it might be a nn-xt on the left of each one theres a picture of a little keyboard and a red record dot i think. uve got to click on that so its highlighted on whatever channel u want to be recording in
